Rachel & Adam Hopkins

An illustrator/educator and architect who have chosen professions which  develop their creative energy and facilitate their love for “bringing things into being”. They feel blessed with lives full of experiences worth far more than economic prosperity.

Rachel has always craved the challenge of juggling a variety of tasks and commitments. Upon receiving a BFA in Illustration from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Rachel worked as a freelance illustrator producing greeting card designs, children’s book proposals, educational illustration, packaging design, and fine art prints. Rachel  realized that as much as she loved spending hours alone in her studio, Art is best when shared.

As a licensed architect, Adam spends his time designing spaces to meet the needs of a variety of individuals and organizations.

Adam and Rachel both enjoy teaching others what they have experienced in their artistic journeys. Watching students discover their creativity is like watching one awaken to see the divine inspiration that exists in nature and society. It is an amazing privilege to witness someone as they experience the gift that is ART, the instinct within everyone to create something new.
